Many dogs work hard for callings outside of homes, taking on dangerous and difficult tasks to protect and serve humans. It’s very noble, respectable work, but it’s hard not to get overcome with “oohs” and “ahhs” when you see them theirfirst day on the job.
This is Tuco.
He’s trying on a vest for the first time, and something tells me he’s found a natural fit. Looks like this pup found his calling!
Even guide dogs need helpers.
Especially early on. So this pup-in-training has a stuffed pup that it uses for comfort during the stressful and exhaustive training regimen it undergoes.
Some dogs even get the real thing.
This pop’s with its mom and looks right at home. The mom, on the other hand, looks like she’s ready for the kid to move out for a little peace and quiet.
A future seeing eye dog.
Teddy looks like he’s still getting his sea legs, but we all have high hopes for the little fella. I’m sure he’ll be wearing that vest proudly (and upright) in no time at all.
