Fortunately, most people don’t have to see it firsthand, but when Jhonny Alquinta and his son were off-roading in Antofagasta, Chile, they witnessed something they couldn’t un-see…and definitely couldn’t ignore.
Tar pits like this one aren’t uncommon in this Chilean desert.

The father and son jumped into action, fishing her out of the thick sludge.
Initially, they were sure this was an accident…but when she was freed, the father and son discovered that someone had put her in a sack and tossed her in!

Knowing that her odds of surviving were reduced because of prolonged exposure to the toxic fumes, they rushed the poor girl to Clínica Veterinaria Puppies’ Vet.

The staff decided to name her Quitrán, which means tar in Spanish. They report that she’s recovering well and is, by all accounts, healthy.

She’ll remain in the care of the clinic while she builds her strength and will eventually be adopted out to a forever home!

Un vídeo que hice sobre la perrita del rescate del alquitrán … Fue un desafío muy difícil nunca antes me había tocado sacar alquitrán de una animal pero se logró les tengo que confesar que casi me rindo con ella ya que hubo un momento que ella se desvaneció y dije ya no luchemos más pero hecho con sus ojitos me pedía a gritos y me decía no te rindas . Solo estoy cansada de tanto luchar y de ver tanta crueldad que an hecho en mi … Y mande un grito y dije vamos conchetumadre que se puede y ella lo escucho bien y desde de hay empezamos a luchar juntos y buena ya conocen el final … Gracias a todos por darle una segunda oportunidad a quitran así la bautizaron ) compartan por favor más conciencia
